sometimes i think tom petty is an alien. i mean, he didn't age for like three decades, and now all of the sudden he looks old. kind of like he went, "oh, the earthlings all age, maybe i should join them."

Byron and I have had many a conversation about this. You pegged it. Can't let the humans get too suspicious.
He and Iggy Pop are pretty much walking corpses I think. Proof that zombies exist and we should be well prepared to protect ourselves from them eating our brains.
